Frequently asked questions
How many players can play?
The game is designed to be played from a single person (fun still guaranteed) up to the whole team. It’s a team play, not limited by team size. 2–5 people is optimal. For bigger groups, it’s worth playing games in parallel—teams can still use the same scenario and debrief together afterward.
How long does a typical game take?
A full game usually takes 45–120 minutes, depending on the game scenario and how much discussion you encourage among the players.
Do I need to know Agile or Scrum already?
No. The game is designed so that both newcomers and experienced practitioners can play. It’s a great way to introduce agile concepts or to align teams that already work in an agile setup.
Can I use it in a training or workshop?
Yes. Many trainers and facilitators use A Sprint to Agile as a hands-on module in Agile or Scrum training, or as a standalone teambuilding session. Download the extra materials from the Materials page to support your session.
What’s in the box?
The game box includes 23 role cards, 16 artifact cards, 42 negative and 22 positive events, your team would eventually deal with, game board and rulebook. 5 blank cards are provided to let you design a card from your owne experience.
